Some very good news for the Bernie Sanders campaign.
BY J. EDWARD MORENO
A poll released Friday showed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) leading Democratic presidential contenders in Nevada with just over a week to go before its caucuses.
The poll, conducted by WPA Intelligence for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and AARP Nevada, showed 25 percent of likely caucusgoers supporting Sanders, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden at 18 percent.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) placed third at 13 percent, and she was trailed by businessman Tom Steyer at 11 percent. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) and former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg tied at 10 percent each.
Candidates must reach at least 15 percent support to obtain delegates from Nevada.
New York mayor Bill de Blasio also weighed in with a telling endorsement of Bernie Sanders.

“I am standing with Bernie because he stands with working families, and always has,” de Blasio, a former 2020 presidential contender, said in a statement released by Sanders's campaign.
“New Yorkers know all too well the damage caused by Donald Trump’s xenophobia, bigotry and recklessness, and Bernie is the candidate to take him on and take him down," he continued.
The New York mayor also touted Sanders's policies and record as a lawmaker.
This must come as a slap to Michel Bloomberg who is spending lavishly trying to persuade mayors all across the country to endorse him, and calling them "Mayors for Mike".
News for people here in Western Washington.
Next Monday, just five days before the state mails out ballots for the March 10 presidential primary, 2020 Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders will hold a rally with Seattle Rep. Pramila Jayapal at the Tacoma Dome.
The big question: how many people will show up??? With a capacity of 23,000, Sanders has the potential to draw his largest crowd in Washington state to date. During the 2016 presidential race, Sanders drew 15,000 to Safeco Field T-Mobile Park, the same number to UW’s Hec Edmundson Pavilion, and 17,000 to KeyArena.
It looks like the Russians are already targeting Bernie, and other Democrats.
Russian pranksters posing as Thunberg claim Sanders welcomed her support
A U.S. official told the outlet that federal law enforcement was alerted in November that several Democrats had received calls from someone believed to be outside the country claiming to be Thunberg, asking to set up calls or in-person meetings.
Naturally no Republicans were targeted.
